and Academy III - 7 to 10 years of age
)

Do you have a goal in soccer that excites you enough to "go the distance"?

If doing what you’ve always done hasn’t gotten you where you want to go, don’t you think it’s time to look at your situation differently and work towards your goal in a different fashion?

Here’s an example of looking at your situation differently. What would you be willing to stop doing in order to reach your goal?

And your goal may be “nothing more” than finding a way to enjoy the game again while learning how to be a better player.

Have you outgrown your current situation?

If any of these questions apply to you, then there is a program you need to be involved in.

The Phoenix Soccer Academy is not for everyone. IT IS for those players that are looking for a way to reach new heights – players interested in “raising the bar”.

Are you one of these?

The Phoenix Soccer Academy is designed by Hank Leung, a 3 Time National Coach of the Year, a former U.S. Soccer Staff Coach and a former U.S. National Team Coach. Since his arrival in Michigan, he has been an ODP Coach for MSYSA, a scout for U.S. Club Soccer’s id2 program and is currently a Region II ODP Staff Coach. He has coached in the professional ranks, has won youth and collegiate national championships, has developed male and female national team players, youth and collegiate All-Americans, as well as innumerable scholarship athletes.

Is your game ready for this level of coaching?

Academy I: MALE and FEMALE college students and high school students - including graduating high school seniors that would like some assistance in preparing for their first college pre-season.

Academy II: 11 – 14 year old soccer players - BOYS and GIRLS. A program designed to develop the technical level of each player and introduce basic tactical aspects of the game.

Academy III: 7 - 10 year old soccer players - BOYS and GIRLS. A program designed to develop their enjoyment of the game as well as develop an increased awareness of the ball and the field.

Those who would like to have something
they’ve never had,
will have to do something they have yet to do.

The model for the Phoenix Academy is “street soccer”. In its purest sense, street soccer is just that - players playing on the streets without regard for age or sex. It’s young, old, adult, child, male and female, of the same level, all intermixed playing “the beautiful game”.

The only defining element is ability.

Are you good enough to play in this game? If not, you move down the block or to another street to play in another game.

Kids can be cruel in their honesty. But that’s the way it is on the streets. There is no U12 or U17, etc. There is only YOU. And the question that is asked of you every time you play? Are you good enough?

Training groups will be organized and re-organized regularly based upon performance.
